As a fifth-generation farmer’s daughter, Hailey’s approach to hospitality is shaped by both heritage and an entrepreneurial spirit. As co-owner and creative force behind The Venue at Wood Farms, she brings a discerning eye and hands-on involvement to every detail—from the guest experience and event flow to the culinary and service standards that define the property.

Her philosophy is rooted in thoughtful hospitality: creating experiences that feel effortless to guests, while being meticulously considered behind the scenes. With a constant eye toward refinement, Hailey’s ongoing pursuit is to evolve and elevate The Wood Farms Experience, ensuring each gathering reflects the warmth, beauty, and intentionality at the heart of the venue.

CUISINE + COMMUNITY

Dustin Laub

Formally trained and flavor-driven, Chef Dustin leads the in-house culinary program, Cater Idaho, with a philosophy rooted in craftsmanship, hospitality, and bold, elevated cuisine. From sourcing and preparation to the final plate, every detail falls under his direct purview, with a focus on creating meals that feel both refined and deeply memorable.

With a passion for thoughtful execution and guest experience, Dustin approaches each event as an opportunity to make the culinary experience an integral part of The Wood Farms Experience. His love language is food, and he truly lives to share it.

Jamie Wood

With a lifelong passion for events and a background spanning weddings, retreats, and political gatherings, Jamie brings both depth of experience and an instinct for seamless execution to The Venue at Wood Farms. She has a rare ability to see the finer details others often miss, paired with a strong understanding of the operational and financial foundation behind each event.

Balancing creativity with precision, she serves as a steady and intuitive guiding force within the business. Deeply hands-on and equally invested in every guest experience, Jamie’s presence is felt in both the polished details and the quiet moments of care that define Wood Farms.

David Wood

A fourth-generation farmer at Wood Farms, David’s life and legacy are deeply rooted in the land on which the venue now stands. Having spent his life working the fields, he brings a profound respect for agriculture, preservation, and the heritage of Canyon County. For David, Wood Farms is not only a continuation of family tradition, but a way to create something enduring for future generations. Today, he takes pride in sharing that legacy with every guest who steps onto the property, and in being part of the place where so many couples begin their own family stories.
